FREE Consultations with Appointment

I offer A Free Consultation for all booked appointments. I also offer $50 Consultations that include my Shampoo, Conditioning, Blow-Dry, and 5 minute Scalp Massage Services, along with a Complete Hair and Scalp Analysis and Plan. Consultations can be held in person or through video calls. A professional hair and scalp consultation is a critical first step before any services can be provided. Pricing and Timing needed for the appointment could be reduced or enhanced as a result of a consultation done at the appointment. Therefore, it is best to schedule all first time consultations before the initial appointment. Services will NOT be performed without a thorough consultation in order to create a personalized service plan. This process is essential to ensure safety, realistic expectations, and the integrity of the hair and scalp. During the consultation, factors such as hair texture, density, elasticity, previous chemical treatments, scalp health, and lifestyle are carefully evaluated. Consultations determine the safest and most effective approach to achieving your goals while minimizing the risk of damage, breakage, or adverse reactions. For color services, a consultation is essential to ensure accurate color formulation, proper timing, chemical history and long-term healthy hair. Consultations allows your stylist to recommend appropriate treatments, maintenance plans, and at-home care to support healthy results. Professional Consultations protect both the client and the stylist by promoting transparency and informed decision-making. Preparing Your Crown...

Unless otherwise discussed during your FREE Consultation, ALL Hair Appointments require hair to be fully detangled, cleansed, conditioned, and completely dry with little to no products prior to consultation and/or appointment, unless instructed otherwise. Hair should be free of braids, twists, or knots, though this is not required it is preferred. All services require clean hair and scalp to avoid additional services and costs. Add-On Services for hair preparations are available at additional costs. Add-Ons booked prior to the appointment receive discounted pricing. Add-On Services added at the time of appointment, due to lack of proper hair preparation, will be charged at Full Price and the Remaining Balance MUST then be paid in Full, this is Non-Negotiable. Service times are based on the stylist’s professional pace and workflow, as well as the hair being properly prepared prior to the appointment. Mobile Service

I offer mobile hair services because I understand that life, comfort, and personal circumstances look different for everyone, and sometimes coming to an appointment simply isn’t easy or comfortable. By bringing my services directly to the client, I’m able to create a calm, private, and supportive experience that respects the client's time, space, and needs—whether that means easing anxiety, honoring cultural or religious preferences, working around childcare, or removing transportation challenges, etc. This approach removes common barriers to self-care, supports dignity and ease, and ensures each client can enjoy focused, unrushed service in an environment that allows the client to receive attentive, high-quality care where they feel safe, relaxed, confident and truly seen. To receive mobile services the client's address MUST be sent immediately and exact to appropriate the proper fees.

 

Travel Fees...

 

  • Based on the Client's location 

 

  • Applies to Consultation and/or Appointment (if separated)

 

  • Will be added once the Appointment is Confirmed on Booksy

 

  • Are included in the Total Amount of the Appointment 

 

  • Are paid in reference to the section labeled Deposits 

 

  • Are fully refundable if no consultation and/or services have been rendered 

 

  • Are still applied if the appointment is canceled after arriving for the consultation and/or appointment 

ALL TRAVEL FEES ARE NON-NEGOTIABLE!

Deposits

Deposit Fees are necessary in order to receive services offered by Crowned By Keya LLC. Deposits are important because it secures the time allotted to complete the desired style as well as respects My Time and Expertise. Deposit Fees also helps protect the business from lost income due to last-minute changes. The deposit for services is required after booking the appointment and initial contact with Me. Once the appointment is Confirmed on Booksy, the Deposit will need to be paid within 24 hours. If not paid within 72 hours, without any special instructions by Myself, the appointment will be canceled and documented as such. ALL Deposit Fees go towards the Total Amount of the Appointment. The fees below also applies to any services added on before the appointment. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me.

 

Deposit Fees...

 

  • 50% of the Total Amount is due within 24 Hours after Confirmation

 

  • 75%  of the Total Amount is due at booking for Next Day Appointments

 

  • 100%  of the Total Amount is due at booking for Same Day Appointments

 

  • 100% of the Total Amount is due if any service/s are added at the time of the appointment

Rescheduling

Appointments are reserved exclusively for each client and scheduled with intention. Any rescheduling must be requested within the designated notice period to preserve your deposit and allow proper adjustment of the stylist’s time. Failure to reschedule within this window may result in forfeiture of the deposit and require a new booking to secure a future appointment. Rescheduling within the designated time frame is important because each appointment is carefully planned to ensure the proper time, focus, and preparation for each service. Providing timely notice respects the stylist’s schedule and helps maintain a consistent, high-quality experience for all clients. In order to Reschedule a Consultation/Appointment, you Must contact me directly, in writing, via text. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me. 

 

Rescheduling...

 

  • 48 Hours or More will transfer the Deposit and avoid Cancelation Fees.

 

  • 48 Hours or Less will be considered a Cancelation, the appropriate fees will apply, and a New Appointment will need to be made.

RESCHEDULING POLICY IS NON-NEGOTIABLE

Cancelations

Cancelations are sometimes necessary and are often the result of unexpected or unavoidable circumstances, which is completely understood. I recognize that life happens, and flexibility and grace matter. At the same time, cancellation fees help ensure accountability, provide compensation for time that has been thoughtfully reserved and may not be able to be rebooked, and support the stability, sustainability, and professionalism of a licensed cosmetology business. Please read the information below carefully regarding cancellations. If you have any questions, concerns, or need clarification, you are always welcome to reach out—open communication is truly appreciated. Please note that not paying the Deposit on time will result in a cancelation.

  •  48 Hours or More Before the Consultation and/or Appointment = $25 Fee

(Full Refund ONE-TIME ONLY)

 

  •  48 Hours or Less Before the Consultation and/ or Appointment = $50 Fee

 

  • 48 Hours or More After the Consultation = $50 Fee

 

  • 48 Hours or Less After the Consultation = $75 Fee

 

  • At the Appointment = No Refund

 

  • No Show or Late 15 mins (with no call/text)= No Refund

 

  • Lack of Proper Hair Prep and Unable to accommodate = No Refund 

 

  • Late Fees (if applicable) = $2/min

 

  • If 3 or more Cancelations occur, the Client will be required to Pay a Full Non-Refundable and Non-Negotiable Deposit at the time the next appointment is booked.
